The third annual ORT Vancouver Ride for STEM took place on Father’s Day, June 19. The cycling event, which began and ended at Richmond Jewish Day School (RJDS) grounds, raised funds for STEM programming – science, technology, engineering and math.
Participants were able to choose from a five-kilometre, 36-kilometre or 72-kilometre ride, all of them within Richmond, which is a naturally flat environment.
There were paper medals that said “thanks for riding” which were made by RJDS (Richmond Jewish Day School) students. They were well received by all who participated.
